Our friends at Setting Sun Circle, formerly Children of the Setting Sun Productions, have announced an evening of culture and community as they introduce their future home during Bellingham’s Indigenous Art Walk!
Haven’t heard about Setting Sun Circle’s new home on Holly Street? KMRE had the chance to sit down with Executive Director, Darrell Hillaire to find out more about the group’s name change and their vision for the new space.

This Friday at Maritime Heritage Park in Bellingham, Setting Sun Circle will share Indigenous art, music, and dance, as well as their vision for this transformative gathering place. Join us in supporting them at The Journey Begins: A Community Introduction to Setting Sun Circle next Fri. June 5 at 6 pm at Maritime Heritage Park, 500 W. Holly Street, Bellingham, WA 98225.
This free event is open to the public. RSVP not required, but organizers would appreciate it for planning purposes.
